If it is, is there enough room for good air circulation around the machine. If the console is in an enclosed unit with your other technical equipment there will be a lot of heat that can build up and restrict the Xbox's performance.III. Do you use your Xbox to download lots of games or movies from Xbox live. Leaving the console on for long periods of time will cause the temperature of your console to rise, especially if you leave it on to download while at work or college. One suggestion is to enable the power save function allowing the Xbox to turn itself off after some time of inactivity.IV. If you are the kind of hardcore gamer that will play for hours on end, I know it happens my record on halo is fifteen hours, and then it is worth considering purchasing an extra external fan. This will help the internal fan keep the machine cool and keep you playing for longer.
